The magician displays three cards in a fan showing the faces. There are two red number cards, and a black face card in the middle between the two red number cards. A spectator is asked to remember the face card in the middle. The performer then turns the cards face down, and asks the spectator to remove the middle card, and place it face down on the table. The magician then asks if the spectator remembers what the middle card is, and to please name the card. The spectator names the card, then turns over the card to show it has changed into a completely different card!
