The magician displays an empty salt shaker, unscrews the lid, and hands them both to a couple of spectators to have them examined. The performer then takes them back from the spectators, and screws the lid onto the salt shaker. Next, the magician introduces a small ball, and proceeds to cause the ball to penetrate right through the bottom of the salt shaker!
